I am an award-winning journalist turned media relations and communications professional in the greater New York City area. I am determined to help tell stories fairly, accurately and empathetically. From hyperlocal reporting to financial journalism and public relations, I have nearly a decade of experience writing about finance, politics, education, and the inner workings of businesses and communities.

I currently manage communications for some of the largest financial services companies in the world. My media relations and marketing content creativity for my clients are powered by my experience as the editor of Fund Action - a magazine within Pageant Media’s Fund Intelligence network that covers the asset and wealth management industries. I wrote about asset managers’ mutual fund and ETF product development, sales, marketing and broad corporate strategies, analyzing trends in the market.

I was also the editor of two hyper-local newspapers published by Richner Communications on Long Island. During my time at the Herald Community Newspapers, I reported on five different hamlets, America's largest township and how national issues — ranging from the veteran suicide epidemic to reproductive healthcare — affected local folks. I have experience covering everything from politics to religion, education, health, sports, crime, business, the environment and the arts.

During my reporting career, I was honored for my coverage of education, investigations, feature writing, health reporting and web-based journalism. The Society of Professional Journalists, Investigative Reporters and Editors, the New York Press Association and the Press Club of Long Island have recognized my work.

I graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2012 with a bachelor of arts in journalism. While at SUNY New Paltz, I was the editor-in-chief of The New Paltz Oracle — a nationally recognized, weekly student newspaper.
